Offering Many Roofing Materials & Brands
Your roof has a big job. It protects your home and family from the elements and when it no longer does the job well, you need a new roof. In the nearly three decades that Larry Walty Roofing & Guttering Inc. has been installing asphalt, tile and metal roofing, we’ve seen many changes to materials and styles. We’re here to help you select the right material, style and color for your home.
Asphalt Shingles
The most popular roofing product in the U.S. remains asphalt shingles. Chances are good that you currently have asphalt shingles on your roof. Twenty years ago, three-tab shingles were the most popular shingle option. Today, most homeowners invest in architectural shingles because they last longer, give a more dimensional look to the roof and have a longer warranty.
We primarily install CertainTeed and Owens Corning architectural shingles. We find these two brands offer a wide variety of styles and colors, and both offer outstanding warranties. In addition, Larry Walty Roofing & Guttering Inc. stands behind our installation with a 5-year workmanship warranty.
DaVinci® Tile Roofing
If you want the look of real slate or wood shake without the cost or upkeep, consider DaVinci® tiles installed by Larry Walty Roofing & Guttering Inc.. There products look like the real thing but, because of the way they’re manufactured, keep their color longer than other similar products. These products are all Class 4 Impact rated and Class A fire rated with a wind certification up to 110mph, so you may qualify for discounts on your homeowner’s insurance. Plus, some of the products qualify as Cool Roofs which could result in reduced cooling expenses.
Metal Roofing
Metal roofing is growing in popularity as it offers the benefits of being fire-resistant and able to withstand high winds. Metal roofs are no longer the corrugated metal they once were. They’re now available in many styles like standing seam, tile and scalloped. Because Larry Walty Roofing & Guttering Inc. understands the best practices for proper metal roofing installation, you can be assured that your new metal roof will be able to withstand winds up to 140mph. Depending on the color you select, it may also qualify as a Cool Roof and lower your cooling costs.
